VANDERBILT NONPROFIT SPEAKER SERIES
––––––
As the previous Director of Client Relations & Partnerships of Vanderbilt Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO), I organized Vanderbilt University’s flagship Nonprofit Speaker Series. The mission of the event is to inspire the Vanderbilt student body to explore and pursue social impact endeavors.

MAINTAINING SCNO’S BRAND
To maintain SCNO’s connection as the host organization of the Nonprofit Speaker Series, a custom logo for the event was generated to include SCNO’s lightbulb logo. Due to the contrasted colors of SCNO’s brand, inverted designs were created throughout the design process.

MARKETING VIRTUALLY
The flagship Nonprofit Speakers brought together 15 social impact leaders at the regional and national levels – and was hosted virtually on Zoom. The primary challenge was ensuring the word of the event was effectively shared among campus, necessitating a unique social media marketing outreach strategy.
The planning committee and I found common themes among the various speakers invited to the event and segmented the Speaker Series into 4 sessions, hosted bimonthly in March & April of 2020. I spearheaded a social media campaign for SCNO’s Instagram to reach as many students as possible to notify them about the events.

PRINTED MATERIAL
Posters were also designed and distributed around campus.
